How I work
From an uncertain problem to a useful outcome.
You work directly with the engineer responsible for the work.
That keeps business needs, technical decisions, and delivery
connected, without adding unnecessary layers between the
problem and the solution.
Start with what matters
Clarify the business outcome, constraints, risks, and what
would make the work worthwhile before committing to a solution.
This helps avoid spending time and money solving the wrong problem.
Choose a sensible path
Compare practical options and trade-offs so the scope reflects
what the problem actually needs, rather than a predefined
package or unnecessary complexity.
Deliver and check the result
When implementation is part of the engagement, I work directly
on the solution and validate it against agreed requirements.
Where relevant, this includes checking security controls and
behavior after deployment.
Start with a complimentary initial assessment.
We'll discuss the business challenge, what you're trying to achieve,
and practical next steps, with no obligation to proceed. Detailed
audits, penetration tests, code reviews, production hardening,
and formal reports are scoped separately.
A proof of concept, at no cost for selected projects.
For selected projects, I can build a focused PoC at no cost to
test a key idea or technical approach. Where appropriate, it can
become the starting point for the first version of your software,
rather than a throwaway prototype. Further development and
production requirements are scoped separately.
