Selected experience

Engineering experience where mistakes have real consequences.

Over 15+ years, I've worked on software supporting business operations, financial transactions, and healthcare services. Today, I also build independent products across market intelligence, cybersecurity, and AI. These examples show how I approach complex problems, protect critical information, and turn technical decisions into working systems.

Products & independent initiatives

Building solutions to real business and security problems.

These projects apply software engineering to different challenges, from discovering business opportunities and clarifying project decisions to understanding security risks in applications that use AI.

01 / MARKET INTELLIGENCE

Market Pain Intelligence

Finding a promising business opportunity is difficult when useful market signals are scattered across different sources. Market Pain Intelligence turns real-world professional demand into structured insights that help founders and product teams identify recurring problems and opportunities worth investigating.

02 / CYBERSECURITY INTELLIGENCE

Cybersecurity Pain Intelligence

Security problems are often connected rather than isolated. Cybersecurity Pain Intelligence explores vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, exposed infrastructure, and other weaknesses to understand how they create risk and what practical engineering measures can address them.

03 / AI APPLICATION SECURITY

AgenticEnclave

AI agents can access data, interact with tools, and trigger actions. AgenticEnclave is a hands-on security lab for examining how vulnerabilities arise in AI-enabled applications, reproducing unsafe behavior, applying safeguards, and verifying the results.

04 / PROJECT INTELLIGENCE

Brief Synthesis

Project briefs often describe what needs to be built without making constraints, risks, and important decisions explicit. Brief Synthesis turns a project description into structured analysis, risk assessment, execution strategy, and an engagement proposal before significant engineering resources are committed.

Professional experience

Solving problems in systems businesses depend on.

Experience across telecom, insurance, and healthcare involved different challenges, but a common requirement: software needed to support real operations, preserve data integrity, and remain dependable as systems and business needs evolved.

Telecom operations · 2 years

Keeping billing and subscriptions consistent.

Subscription and payment workflows depended on consistent data and reliable recurring billing. Fragmented processes created reconciliation gaps and made operational consistency harder to maintain.

Integrated recurring billing with a payment gateway, standardized reusable interface components, and strengthened data validation across billing operations. The work eliminated reconciliation gaps and supported more consistent revenue cycles.

Insurance & claims · 1 year

Making complex business processes easier to follow.

Insurance platforms relied on interconnected workflows, carrier integrations, and compliance-driven processes. Unclear system behavior and fragmented handoffs made it harder for technical and business teams to maintain a shared understanding.

Mapped end-to-end workflows, documented system states and data flows, and improved process traceability. This created clearer architectural documentation, supported stakeholder alignment, and established a stronger basis for future system changes.

Healthcare platforms · 11+ years

Evolving mission-critical systems without business interruption.

Healthcare systems handled beneficiary records, exams, hospitalizations, and sensitive personal information. Changes had to account for operational continuity, data consistency, security, and regulatory obligations.

Helped modernize legacy applications, establish a more modular platform architecture, and improve integrations and data protections. Following an initial penetration test, security controls were strengthened; subsequent annual penetration tests reported zero successful breaches. Contributed to the organization's ISO 27001 certification process and technical work supporting LGPD and GDPR compliance.

What this experience means for your project

Technical decisions made with the real world in mind.

Good engineering must account for more than whether a feature works. It also needs to consider business operations, the cost of future change, the protection of sensitive information, and what happens when software meets real users and systems.

Keep operations moving

Design changes and integrations around how the business actually works, reducing avoidable disruption and helping systems evolve without unnecessary large-scale rewrites.

Protect data and business processes

Account for access controls, data integrity, traceability, and security risks when building or changing applications that support important business operations.

Move from decisions to implementation

Connect technical recommendations with practical execution. The objective is to give you a clearer path forward and, when the engagement calls for it, help build and validate the solution.
